I'm really happy with the final outcome of my canvas exhibition poster, I liked the process through the start to the finish I believe I have learnt and experimented in different areas such as type, collage and so on. This task has allowed me to develop on my typography skills. I didn't find any of the tasks challenging but more experimental and new.
Overall of the exploratory stage I have looked into different areas of the art and design fields such as graphics, lens based media, fashion and textiles and 3DD I enjoyed each and every tasks. I've used programs such as indesign and illustrator that I've never used before and found it easy to adapt to. Every design field has given me new experiences and a taste of the design area. On top of that its my first time using blogger and blogging about my work which that was fun and interesting to write about my work every week and to also use blogger as well.
I really like your technique of mixing up the colours together with tissue and dabbing that onto the page as not only you produce mixed colours but you also get that texture of the tissue being dabbed. I also like the way you used a hole puncher for a method of experimenting as I wouldn't have come up with this idea or the mixed water colours.
ReplyDeletethe hole punching idea is quite unique I would have have left the paper as it was instead of painting through it apart from that good effort.
